Will it touch my mods or settings?
No. Hyperline leaves your existing mods and settings as they are and downloads only the content Hyperline modes need.
Does this cost money?
No. Hyperline is free.
What do I need?
Deadlock on Steam and a Windows or Linux PC.
Do I need an invite?
No. Sign in with Steam and you can play straight away.
Is signing in with Steam safe?
Yes. You sign in on Steam’s own page, so Hyperline never sees your Steam password. Steam tells Hyperline only your public Steam ID, and Hyperline reads your name and picture from your public profile.
Is this a cheat?
No. Hyperline adds custom game modes. It doesn’t change regular matches or give you any advantage in them. The code is public on GitHub.
Will this get me banned in matchmaking?
Hyperline doesn’t touch matchmaking. Custom games run separately, and your regular matches stay as they are.

My antivirus flagged Hyperline. Is it safe?
Yes. Hyperline is signed, but some antivirus programs, such as
Avast, AVG, Norton and Windows Defender, flag new programs that work
with a game. Restore Hyperline from the quarantine, add
C:\Program Files\Hyperline and
%APPDATA%\Hyperline as exceptions, then open Hyperline
again.
